Abstract Submission

The ICBMT 2024 Organizing Committee cordially invites you to submit abstracts. The Scientific Committee will review the submitted abstracts, and those accepted will be presented either as Oral or Poster presentations.

Please read the guidelines carefully before submitting your abstract.

    Confirmation Letter After your submission, a confirmation letter will be sent to you via E-mail.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

Theses guidelines are for general participants, not invited speakers.

  • All abstracts must be submitted online via the ICBMT 2024 website. Abstracts submitted by E-mail, fax or post will NOT be accepted.
  • Abstracts must be written in clear English and submitted prior to July 5, 2024.
  • The abstract should be objective and concise, including key information in its four sections: Background/Aim, Methods, Results, Conclusions.
  • No further proofreading or corrections will be allowed after the submission deadline. It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure that their text does not contain typos or grammatical errors.
  • Authors have the option of choosing their presentation type (oral or poster presentation). However, the scientific committee will make the final decision on presentation type after review of the abstracts.
  • The presenting author must register for ICBMT 2024 during the early registration period. If the presenting author does not complete registration with full payment by August 16, 2024, the abstract will be withdrawn.
Abstract Topics
Title Capitalize the first letter of each word.
Limit of 30 words
Author Information Name: Write first and family name(s) in full.
Affiliation should be structured as follows: Department, Institution, Country.
Degrees or titles such as MD after an author’s name must be deleted.
Abstract Body Structured chronologically into four sections: Background/Aim, Methods, Results, Conclusions
Limit of 300 words
Keywords No more than 6 keywords of which the first word begins with a capital letter
Tables and Images The total number of tables/graphs/images should not exceed two

Notification of Acceptance

  • All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee according to reviewing procedures.
  • Notifications of acceptance will be sent by e-mail to corresponding and presenting authors From Early August, 2024.

Withdrawal of Abstracts

  • If the presenting author of an accepted abstract does not register by August 16, 2024, the abstract will be automatically withdrawn from the final program.
  • If you must withdraw an abstract, please notify the secretariat (icbmt@icbmt.or.kr) in writing as soon as possible.
